Error of renaming column -- The length of the property name must not exceed 1000 chars

Hi Developers,

We have a custom tool to rename columns which uses Spotfire function.

There seems to be limitation on the column name where it must not exceed 1000 characters.

How to reproduce:

  • Insert calculated column

  • Type an expression that exceeds 1000 character

  • Press OK without giving a name for the calculated column

  • The expression will be considered as the calculated column name ->

  • the error "The column name cannot be longer than 1000 characters" will take place.
