When working with multiple Spotfire Analyst instances, connected to different environments, there is no instant way to know which server the Information Designer is linked to. This is very confusing.
Having some more information like in the attached modified screenshot would help to clear any doubts.
Placing it in the window title, makes it available at "any time", using either Element or Data Sources operations.

You can view the server and area details from any interface in your analyst client by hovering over the globe icon in the bottom right hand corner. Do you typically have various information designer windows open that are connected to different instances?
