add options to control if try to re-authenticate after logged out due to Absolute Sesstion Timeout passed

Currently Analyst will try to re-authenticate after logged out by Spotfire Server due to Absolute Sesstion Timeout passed, so users can never be aware of that timeout actually has occurred at all.

Customer wants to turn this off for security consideration, i.e. do not re-authenticate after logged out by Server.

Thanks.

      Hi Miguel ,

      Thanks for your reply.

Yes, customer wants to disable re-authentication from Analyst in order to force user to manually enter user credentials to login again once logged out.

Yes I am aware of how to turn off Absolute Session Timeout and customer wants to keep it on.

      Thanks.

      Hi Wei,

I would like to know what is the problem you are trying to solve.

I understand that you mean to disable re-authentication from Analyst, right? Is that because you want the user to write again their credentials if they are logged out?

Or you want to provide the users with a logged out message?

Or maybe you want to turn off the Absolute Session Timeout? In that case, I guess you already know that you can change that timeout from its default (24 hours) to something you find better suited for your use case. For more information, see https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/latest/doc/html/TIB_sfire_server_tsas_admin_help/server/topics/absolute_session_timeout_and_idle_session_timeout.html.

      Thanks
