Relations Option is only visible if available tables in database loads into the Spotfire 11.4 LTS

Scenario:

• Connection type: Oracle

• Authentication method: Oracle authentication

• User is connecting to Oracle database using external connection.

• User can connect to tables and can use custom queries. This works fine.

• But user cannot create a relationship between custom queries. The functionality is greyed out. User tried both Spotfire 10.3 LTS and 11.4 LTS and it does not work.

• Is there any fix available for this issues, as data are taking long time to load and we have to wait till the data loaded into the Spotfire to access the “Relations”.

• Is there any possibility of accessing “Relations” before data gets loaded?

• Can we consider this as a bug?

Note :

• “Relations” option are disabled while data is loading but custom query tab is enabled. (attached screenshot Example1.png)

• "Relations" option are only enabled if the data under the “Available tables in database” are loaded. (attached screenshot Example1.png)

Current Spotfire Versions :

Spotfire server version: 11.4.4 LTS

Desktop client version: 11.4.1 LTS
