AD Integration to SQL Server/Azure Database Connector

We are looking for AD Integration for SQL Server. Current usage of Spotfire (we've tested upto 7.11) does not support AD Integration for MS SQL.

Connector to Amazon Redshift that supports OpenID PingFederate

Needs ODBC driver for Amazon Redshift for In-DB connection. Problem is we are trying to access a data set with 1100+ columns and need to select columns to visualize using on demand.

Publish in the library a data connection to a file

This would provide a shortcut in the library to a file path somewhere on a shared drive, rather than authors having to "open file" and navigate to a complex network location..

Data source (including server.default) latency recording

As part of the performance data, it would be very helpful to collect the network latency for open data sources. This should include the Spotfire database (server.default). This will help pinpoint why Spotfire is slow at times.

Read LDAP Directory as a data source

Currently the only viable recommendation to read LDAP data is an external software called CData. It would be nice to have an intergrated solution to identify Spotfire's own use of LDAP information.

Enable ability to add DB hints to information link without using freehand SQL

Hints are sometimes useful to improve performance of an information link but can only be added as FREEHAND. Freehand then locks the SQL and changes to filter parameters aetc are not honored
