Save any type of object in library

Ability to save any type of object in library. So if I have custom data function or for that matter any custom extension whose state I want to save in library and make it sharable it is not possible.
In case of data functions things like conneciton parameters or IT controlled settings can be saved in the library adn then folks should be able to just retrieve them and use it.

Hello and thank you for reading. We need to provide customs material (Eg. PDF as manuals) for some visualizations, and for this develop It will be helpfull if the library can manage another kind of files, eg pdf, so the user can download them.
