API - allow to store custom objects in Library Merged

via API it is not possible to add any objects into the library except folder.

It would be great to have the option upload custom objects (files) in library for future use.

the LibraryItemType would be e.g. extended by: "customObject" and LibraryManager would get a method e.g. saveObject(FilePath/Stream, LibraryItem - folder where to save)

    Hi Jens,

This is not what we are looking for. we don't want to upload the sbdf files.

The background of the request is - we have a plugin for spotfire that is able to generate documents in pdf and ppfx format based on template. We would like to upload the template into the library to be able to share it.

But as TIBCO was not able to react on this request for 2 years - we found a workaround...

    Thanks,

    Michal

While it may not be exactly what you were looking for there is now a REST API to upload SBDF files to the library (these can then be referenced from analysis files).
