We have a DXP file where the report creator has left the position, and a new developer has taken over. However, the new developer cannot change the ownership of the bookmark within the report, and the only way they can make modifications by creating a new bookmark, and then deleting the old one (needing administrator to do this task).
This funcitonality is also asked by our customers.
It could be great if it could be implemented.
In my organisation, the most important issue would be that users other than the creator can update a bookmark. If users other than the creator can "grab" a bookmark, that would also be a viable option. If only an admin could change the ownership of a bookmark, that would not be a good option for us.
Probably, if the owner could make bookmarks "updateable by other users" somehow would be the best option. That way, one could keep bookmarks which cannot be updated, but also give others the option to update some of the bookmarks.
This capability is asked for often by our customer users as not being able to have 'bookmark super users' and relying on only bookmark creators to edit or update their bookmarks causes time waste trying to track them down if something is inaccurate or requiring an Admin to get involved if that person has left the organization.
