For data security and administration purposes it would be useful to have the possibility to create an overview of the data sources with items like source, username, authentication method, location in library, used in - information. this may be, but is not directly covered by https://ideas.tibco.com/ideas/SPF-I-441
Christian, Thanks the queries are helpful. Is there however a way to determine columns in a data table when a data connection is used in a report? The metadata approach will help as there are 1000+ reports and it is not feasible to use Py code in each report to get the information.

Christian, I understand that this is a query outside Spotfire? Since this would be a proprietary solution I suggest you share it for TIBCO to use for their easier built of a solution for all.

What database are you using for the Spotfire metadata? I have a query that gives all of this but it's for ORacle only...
Also consider adding driver used, and maybe driver version.
