As a Spotfire administrator I want more control over Scheduled updates keep alive and start time

As a Spotfire administrator I want more control over Scheduled updates keep alive and start time, so that I can plan the runtime of the scheduled analysis as well as how long the analysis is loaded on Webplayer(s)

We want to cache an analysis on a targeted resourcepool for at least a week starting saturday since loading can be quite time consuming and resource intensive.

data is not reloaded so often it needs to check for data on dayly basis, weekly would be sufficient.

The current mechanism:

  • Don't provide granular control for WHEN the analysis is loaded. Day of week and time starting
  • UpdateAnalysisService can be used to only store the same file on server for a maximum of 1440 minutes / 24 hours
  • Dont keep scheduled analysis in memory when repeat schedule is set to 1 day per week.

We would like to have:

UpdateAnalysisService able to set keep-alive to > 1440 minutes

Weekly schedule option

  • Start day and time
  • analysis must be kept in memory while instances of resource pool are running.
  • reload file after restart checkbox to determine if the file may be reloaded during business days
    • optionally a restart schedule time to postphone after business hours
  • check for updates every , dropdown with
    • "on schedule start time"
    • days (anable input box accepting input, max 7 days
    • hours (enable input box accepting input, max 24 hours)
    • minutes (enable input box for accepting input, max 60)
