Dear developer,
we have a request from our clients to make write-protected properties like limits and table/column properties writeable.
Also, predefined limit sets should be editable via tooling.
Our developers updated that
We can easily make them editable but this means they become "deletable"!
There is no distinction in Spotfire between editable and deletable ... this used to be the case many years ago and users deleted few properties which caused multiple crashes.
We need TIBCO to add "deletable" as an option where
we disabled the edit on purpose to prevent deleting the properties which cause many problems with the templates.
