A bar chart which can use both side by side & stacked options

I would like to be able to to display the last 12 weeks of figures and their corresponding figures from the previous year. Now, this is easy doable with a side by side bar, and some calculated columns. But the complexity is that these bars are basically a division of 'on-time' versus 'late'.

So, the current bar chart only offers the current year figures in a stacked bar chart of 'on-time' & 'late' for the last 12 weeks.

The challenge we face, is to add the same figures (and division) for the previous year. That would normally be a side by side bar chart for the years/weeks and 'display value', but as we have a split in the value, it would require a combination of this side by side bars & stacked for late/on time.

The desired result can be obtained by unpivoting the data like this:
