We now have the ability in Spotfire to group from marked areas - i.e. allow the user to mark data and then create a group from it.
Can we extend this to our Feature map layer, so allow the user to manually select shapes on a shape file, and create their own customised areas from it, such as Sales Areas.
In this way users would not have to use QGIS etc. to create their own areas, as these are normally built upon US States, UK counties, EMEA countries etc.
