I'm looking to automate the design of tables that displays compounds in a specific column. Manually I can choose between either of the three chemistry renderer : ChemDraw (vNext), ChemDraw or Biovia Draw.
I'm basically trying to adapt this code snippet that only shows for the 3 default renderers (text, url, link): https://community.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-edit-column-renderer-options-in-a-Table-Plot-using-IronPython-in-TIBCO-Spotfire
I've contacted my support team and apparently this feature is not possible so they've recommended I submit it
Provided that the CustomValueRenderer custom extensions/AddIns (ChemDraw (vNext), ChemDraw and Biovia Draw) expose their TypeIdentifier, you can use TablePlotColumnCollection.SetValueRenderer(DataColumn dataColumn, TypeIdentifier rendererIdentifier).
I've already had a call with them but they unfortunately did not have that information ^^'
I suggest you start with PerkinElmer support.
Would you know who I could contact?
Unfortunately, I don't have any information about those specific third party components.
Hi, thank you for your feedback - exposing the TypeIdentifier is the issue as nobody was able to tell how to do so or if the information was available somewhere - would you know?
