Custom Background color based on axis values in Scatter plot or any other visualization Merged

Spotfire should be able to color the background of visuals based on an expression. It would be beneficial for all end users to quickly determine if the values are good or average if they fall in a specific color area without anyone to explain them manually.

Like if we want to determine the asset integrity of well  for Oil and Gas domain, we can say just by looking if well is falling in ideal scenarios or there are chances of erosion or risk

    Hi Niklas,

Thanks for getting back. What we are looking for is to put different background color in a scatter plot section based on data available. PFA image in which we have a scatter plot and 4 different horizontal and vertical lines. What we need is to put a different color where the horizontal and vertical lines are intersecting and forming a box to quickly identify the values falling in that region.

    Regards

    Ritu

Hi Ritu, many thanks for sharing your idea. Would it be possible for you to add an illustration on what you need? Just to make sure we understand it.
